Recommended Reading: Nathaniel Taylor

I received this volume as a Christmas present from my wife. (Oh that all wives were so understanding and could see that such a slender volume as this is worth far more than the $71.50 price tag). I have just started to read it. It is fantastic. More later.

I'm looking forward to your review of the book. I'd like for my wife to get me a copy for Christmas as well. IMO, Taylor and the New Haven Theology abandoned the Edwardsean legacy. They employed an orthodox vocabulary, using the same words and phrases as Edwards (and other "Calvinists") but void of the same meaning. Nettleton and the men who established The Theological Institute of Connecticut were the true heirs of Edwards.
